Using a 700r4 torque arm bracket on a t5

I was in the middle of swapping my 700r4 with a t5 on my 1992 RS when I realized the torque arm mount bracket from the automatic wouldn't work with the t5. The only bracket I could find for a t5 was on Hawkes and it was around $85 after shipping for a used bracket and I still wasn't positive it was the one I needed. The other option was an x member with a torque arm mount for about $260. I didn't want to wait on the mount from Hawkes and I didn't want to spend the money for the cross member so I decided to make a bracket so that the automatic torque arm mount bracket would work with the t5. It looks like it throws it to the driver's side about an inch but everything seemed to be alright when I took it for a test drive. I haven't seen anyone else do this. I guess it's because they either buy the cross member with a TA mount or buy a t5 with the torque arm mount already on it. Anyway, this is what it looks like. Will I have any issues with it being to the driver's side a little bit?
