Sway bar idea

I know sway bar bushings and end links are super cheap and am going to get some. But what if i took the end link bushings on the old ones before i throw them out and replace part or all of the rubber on the sway bar side with washers or somthing solid, could it do any damage? Would it make the ride perceptibly different? Just an idea to fool around with.

it would probley handle like nothing else, it will put added stress on the car and the bar from not having anything "give", just the goof around with i think it should be fine but i wouldnt leave it like that.

sway bar links

Why not use the factory polyurethane anti-sway bar links? They are the next best thing to solid, but they do allow the suspension to move fairly smoothly. The only thing better is using rod ends at the end of the anti-sway bar and on the A-frame. This requires a custom set-up that is unneccessary on the street. Just remember that everything on the suspension has to move freely. The more free the better.(as long as there is no excess play)--moxman!!!!
