Coilovers? Weight jacks? Or stay the same?
My setup right now is KYB shocks and eibach sport line springs all the way around. Also have spohn a-arms and founders strut towers. I love the stance but the ride is not very forgiving! I was wondering if I switched to a coilovers conversion kit or a weight jack setup would the ride be better? This car is a street car with maybe a drag strip visit once or twice a year. Let me know what you think? Thanks

If you went with the weight jack set up and ran higher spring rates combined with better S&S you would have a much better ride... The higher spring rates and better valved S&S would keep you off your bumpstops.
A coilover kit should be able to run lower spring rates; which would net a better ride quality in general. The coilover set up is more for a drag car than a corner carver.

You usually run a lower rate spring on a coilovers because of the location of the spring. The effective rate is not different from a comparable conventional spring In The stock location.
But yes, you are mostly likely bottoming out. Not a fan of the sportlines.

Another plus for the weight jacks is they are considerably cheaper than a coil over conversion. This combined with being able to dial in the ride height you want (with a re-alignment of course); and being able to run an appropriate spring rate makes them one of the better options out there.

The brand would be your choice.
Is your cars weight roughly the same as from the factory? Or have you cut down/ added on a lot of weight to the vehicle?
A very vague spring rate option would be 850lbs front / 170lbs rear. This spring rate option is widely held as good for a street / track car.
The above spring rates sticks to the 5:1 ratio. (850÷5=170)
If for example you have a ton of weight added in the back of your vehicle from heavy subs then your rear spring rate may need to come up. (were talking 100+ lbs of weight added.)

I am building an ls engine right now so that should lighten up the front end. Besides that everything is about stock.
