Sway Bar bushings that fit factory brackets...

I bought my poly sway bar bushings from Guldstrand many moons ago - they fit the factory brackets perfectly, but they aren't being made anymore.

Does anyone know of poly sway bar bushings that fit the factory front and rear brackets (I know Energy Suspension sells the bushings that match their new brackets)?

Re: Sway Bar bushings that fit factory brackets...

Sorry, no answer for that- but Guldstrand... had that car a while, eh?
I'm second owner of my '83. Got it in Dec '86. Still have Rancho trailing arms. Put a Herb Adams rear sway bar on a few years ago... not a very politically correct item at 1 1/8". I love it.
Good luck & enjoy your '84.

Those bushings went on the car in 1990... LOL

I spoke with Guldstrand a few weeks ago and they don't stock or make them anymore.

Wondering if there are any other sources...

Energy suspension makes them up to 34mm last time I checked. TDS has them, and they have 36, but iirc the ones I got were 34's that were opened up to 36.

Just put Moog thermoplastic in. K6457 for the front 34mm bar unsure on rear. Very satisfied, no squeaking and a perfect fit. Seem comparable to poly, dig the blue color

Re: Sway Bar bushings that fit factory brackets...

I ordered mine for my 87 through PST(Performance Suspension Technology). I was VERY happy with the fit and the results..

Also used several of their products on mine with same results.

Yes I have them. Yes they are 34mm I hone to 36mm, then modify to be greasable. Yes they fit stock GM brackets.

Re: Sway Bar bushings that fit factory brackets...

I was just on the TDS website and the only two size options in the drop down menu for the front were 30mm and 34mm...

Re: Sway Bar bushings that fit factory brackets...

I found these on the NAPA website. Not poly bushings, but they do fit 3rd gen sway bar brackets.
