cricket sound/squeak from rear end
Every time I go over a bump, turn, or the car leans to one side there is a squeaking sound coming from the back end. The best sound I can describe it as is a cricket. I'm thinking the shocks are bad? I just can't get the sound to happen by bouncing the car up an down.

I had that happen once on my 02. Turns out the weld on one of the exhaust hangers was cracking causing a 'chirp' sound.

Re: cricket sound/squeak from rear end
Mine did that due to a loose upper shock bushing.
It made a chirping sound over certain bumps.
Tightening the upper shock nut a few turns made it go away.

I do have a bad exhaust hanger because it shakes and one side sags down. Ill try tightening the nut too

Are the bolts on the upper shock bushing supposed to tighten all the way down? Mine just turn and turn and don't tighten much at all

You have to hold the shock shaft from turning.
Typically you tighten the nut until the bushing swells to approximately the same diameter as the washers.

Could be a Ujoint, (bad bushing, loose hardware, control arms panhard bar), broken swaybar endlinks/mounts,sparetire parts loose or rattling, loose heat shield or exhaust hanger.
Many things it could be. You have to get under the car and start bangn around a bit.
