KYB GR-2 Struts and Lakewood Shocks?
Getting ready to buy the suspension components for my build. It's an N/A Vortec 305 putting out in the neighborhood of 400hp, Corvette servo/Transgo shift kit 700r4, 3.23 Torsen rear.
Right now I'm looking to buy M/T ET Streets and LCA relocation brackets, Moog 5662 and 5665 (already have these). Thought I'd ask about the shocks and struts since I know it's generally not a good idea to mix brands. I'd like to use the drag-oriented 50/50 Lakewoods in the back but I just don't have it in my budget to afford the 70/30 fronts.. would I be fine running the GR-2's? Or should I just run the traditional cheap GR-2 fronts and Gas-A-Just rear?

Relocation brackets are a great idea as well. They help no matter what tire.

It doesn't hurt to mix and match components. We do it all the time. Even "matched" brand shocks aren't necessarily correct when other parts and pieces are added.
70/30 fronts help extension by softening the rebound rate. Cheap GR2's might get you some front extension as well. If you don't have the car apart I'd try the tires and relocation brackets. If it doesn't hook, add rear shocks and try it. If it still doesn't pull the front up nicely then change the struts.
