Wonder bar smashing lower radiator hose
I just installed the wonder bar on my 86 V6 camaro and noticed that the lower radiator hose aims directly into the wonder bar. It has the hose compressed about half way. I try aiming the hose in different directions but didn't seem to help. Anyone have this problem? Thanks!

I never heard that before! What brand? I have a TDS bar to put on.
Maybe get the type that has the round humps on it that supposibly are easier to route with bends? Also, see about getting the spring insert that keeps it from collapsing.

Re: Wonder bar smashing lower radiator hose
this is common on the v6 cars, my 92 is the same way. However, my lower hose is not smashed by anymeans, its sitting on the bar, but not smashed. IDK about the 86, but on my 92 there is a sheetmetal support that the lower hose sits on, and that piece is between the hose and the wonder bar. mine is a spohn adjustable piece.

Re: Wonder bar smashing lower radiator hose
I got the global west from summit. At first it was kind of pinning the hose between the wonder bar and the frame, so I twisted it up but now its just coming straight out into the bar. I drove it tonight and it was running slightly warmer but its not hot today. Tomorrow I might try to drain it and cut the hose back some so it doesn't stick out that far and goes straight into the turn.. hopefully that will help
