Has anything been replaced? If not, you probably badly need new shocks/struts/springs.

Re: Need Suspension Advice!!!!!
When the old suspension came out of my car, I could compress them by hand with ease. With the new suspension, I needed to use a towel to protect my hand and then put my weight on it to compress them.
With old suspension, it will hit the bump stops quite frequently. Giving you the jarring hard ride you have right now.
Shocks, springs, struts will fix that.

Struts & coils, if your struts are dead. Your coils have been absorbing all bumps & bottoming out hitting the the stoppers, you might wanna change those also if their are beaten up from bottoming out.

+1 to changing out the struts & shocks. I would start there and then do the springs only if needed.
I just had the front struts & rear shocks on my car swapped out with sensa-trac and love the ride again.
my old struts while they looked ok, were not ok. like an earlier poster stated- they were easy to compress and were not doing their job anymore. the new struts/shocks are night and day difference in how they were able to be compressed by hand.

Go with KYB GR-2 struts (and new mounts) up front and KYB Gas-A-Just shocks in the rear. You could do GR-2's in the rear, but the cost difference for the step up is so insignificant (around $40 total) that you might as well do it.
I had this configuration installed about a week ago. The difference is unbelievable.
