Im replacing sway bar bushings on my 91 firebird 5.0 tbi convertible and wanted to see if there is a way I could tell the diamieter of the sway bar other then getting under the car and measuring it. Does RPO's or vin have anyting to determin this?

I believe the F41 rpo might mean something here.

Re: Sway Bar Size

The car is 20 years old. Take nothing for granted & assume that everything is exactly as it was 20 years ago & hasn't changed, like the RPO codes saying whatever.

Physically measure & you can't be wrong that way.

Re: Sway Bar Size

IKEA has free paper measuring tapes that are great for measuring sway bars.

I keep a few in the garage...they come in handy sometimes.
