How hard to install?
Recently took my dads 92 Z to the tire shop to get new tires mounted/balanced and get a front end alignment. Shop said they couldn't do the alignment because of some worn parts. They recomended the center link, idler arm, and the lower ball joints be replaced.
Will probably find a shop to install the ball joints, but is the center link & idler arm a simple install? Thinking of doing those myself. Will also probably get new tie rods & sleeves while doing the work.

all of that stuff is super simple.
remove the ball joint nut, hit the top with the hammer, and it will pop right out!

Cool. From what I have read ball joints seem like a pain in the a**. Maybe I will work up the courage to do those myself too haha.

Re: How hard to install?
Ball joints themselves are easy........the hard part is separating the joint and keeping the coil spring under control. If you have changed springs before, the rest is easy.

Re: How hard to install?
Well since you guys said it was so easy I decided to give it a try Installed new balljoints, center link, idler arm, & tie rods today. It was a lot easier than I thought it would be. Was glad I didn't have to mess with the springs to do the ball joints. Rented a tool from Advance Auto that made it a breeze. Just need to take it to a shop to get a front end alignment and it should be all set.
