ball joints too tight-recommendations?
I've tried Moog and the bargain brand at AZ on my 87 and still suffer high effort turning. This is with the suspension loaded/unloaded and on my buddy's alignment rack. With the linkage disconnected the wheels require much more effort to turn than my TA and Berlinetta (which both probably have the original stuff still). I was last told they would free up after a few hundred miles but I've put several thousand miles on this Summer (with frequent lubes) and, if anything, it's gotten worse. So bad that I'm considering pulling a set of JY control arms out and swapping them in with the JY ball joints still installed.
Any suggestions on a lower effort ball joint, think I saw some such at some point? Any others out there experiencing similar issues? Any experience with the AC Delco BJs? My TA drives like a dream, the camaro gets to be a pain, especially on the freeway.

How do you know it's the ball joints causing it?

Recently i Replaced my Strut Mounts. My Steering was VERY NOTICEABLY easier after the replacement. When looking at my old mounts, i noticed that they were dragging where the bearing was supposed to be. The bearings were either missing, or Seized. Check your Mounts.
