New take on old ques: Who installed a bushing kit and DIDN'T get squeaks??
I've heard it from both angles: Either someone installed the PST polygraphite rebuild kit, and got squeaks, or they installed the Energy Suspension kit, and got squeaks. Then there's others who haven't had any squeaks...
So if you've got a kit in, and you don't squeak, please put the info here!! Also, did you do anything "special" to the bushings- like a pre-lubricant (and what lube?), or having them pressed in "professionally", or pressing them in yourself, or etc! Thank you!!

I got the Energy Suspension front end kit and a couple other items to complete it from PSC.
I didn't dissasemble the control arm bushings to lube 'em, I called PSC and they said it's not necessary, but you can do it for piece of mind. I just had them stuck in there the way they came in the box. I did everything myself at home with hand tools except for getting out the old bushings and ball joints. I had the shop where I brought my car for alignment push out the old ones and press in the new ones for $40.00.
No squeaks here. I've heard that some people have squeaks for a few days after driving in the rain.
Also, the PSC kit is a little more expensive as I'm sure you've priced them, but you get what you pay for. My friend got the PST kit for his Monte. When my package came from PSC, he saw it and came back in the house with a big woody. Everything was ES and Federal Mogul with the exception of a Moog idler arm. All nicely boxed and labeled individually , whereas all his stuff came in a big plastic bag he said.
Anyway, I didn't get squeaks.

I installed the Energy Suspension Hyper-flex bushing kit that comes with just about everything. All it took was hand tools and a medium-sized mallet to get the old ones out and new ones in. The only squeaks I have are coming from the LCA bushings. I plan to put some bushing lube on the outsides of them sometime soon, hopefully that will kill the squeak.

Moog is owned by federal mogul.
All parts packaged were "tread saver" by so and so, a division of federal mogul.
The idler arm was the exception, it came in a moog box.
Very good parts.

I've got PST bushings on the front of my bird. I had the teflon lube from Summit when I put everything together. No squeaks as of yet :x-ing fingers:. I have Hotchkis LCA's w/grease fittings so no noise there either.

I have the PST front end kit, with sway bar brackets that I made greasable since they dont do it at PST. I love the way it feels and havent had any squeaking in 10,000 miles or so. Now the rear.......

Well, I've never heard of any PST components squeaking since they are Polygraphite bushings. I've always heard that the Energy Suspension ones are the "Squeakers" since they are poly-urethane. ES states that upon installation of their bushings to use a liberal amount of lube as preventive maintenence for the squeaks.

I took off the LCA's and lubed up the bushings (Energy Susp.). No more squeaks!

i think i have the PSC kit (its in my info) the kit w/ polygraphite bushings. i just made sure i really cleaned all the parts the bushings would come in contact w/. never had problem or any squeeks. i do lube everything every 3000mi and wipe off any access. i guess im a clean freak w/ my suspension. but a black car w/ all suspension parts powdercoated red just looks so dam good to me.
