Re: WHAT IS THE NAME OF THIS SUSPENSION PART??

what part? the upper panhard rod? if thats bent, you have chassis damage that needs to be addressed. FWIW, that bar is formed weird for the factory and looks a bit bend/twisted. your looks a bit worse though

BMR and UMI have an upper panhard, but its a relocation piece, it moves the panhard down, which has a substantial affect on suspension geometry.

Only replacement is a stock piece, or Grantnalli (spl?) has a heavy duty one, but its way overpriced and as faras i can tell, its just a stock piece powdercoated.

Here is what it is supposed to look like. It is suppose to have a bend in it. Yours does look like it may be a little more bent than normal.

Hello
Seeing how you said the vehicle was wrecked and your upper pan hard bar is a weight bearing structure and its bent. I am willing to bent you have chassis damage somewhere. I would suggest going to a shop and having it checked before you would purchase anything. And once it checks out ok then you can either go with a stock replacement or a aftermarket relocation bar. Below is a link to show you what our bar has to offer.

If you have any other questions feel free to ask.
Thanks
Brad

thats pretty sad

from th looks of that piece, it useless. The end that you had problems with, CANNOT be boxed as much as they did. IT will not allow the panhard to articulate properly since the stock bar does move up into the upped bar a little during compression.

what a POS

what Fueled soul did is correct, i remember his build and he did originally box the bar too far and had to cut it back for clearance.

I didn't have much interference, the parhard bar was never going to contact the upper bar the way i built it but i decided to mold in the area anyway doing so i was able to have the bar fully sit inside the upper. You'll never max out the coils and get the bar to come that close anyways

Re: WHAT IS THE NAME OF THIS SUSPENSION PART??

Thank you for the replies. YES i spun out in the rain and wrecked the car. I smacked the right rear corner of the car and damaged it pretty good. It is currently at the body shop getting repaired. I guess i should just get a second panhard rod bar to replace the bent one. I already have a adjustable one on there(being the lower one) Should i get another adjustable one for the top? or get another NON adjustable one? Thanks for all your help

Re: WHAT IS THE NAME OF THIS SUSPENSION PART??

there is no adjustable upper panhard, no realson for it. Its just a brace.

I would get a stock one, clean and paint it. Use it to see how badly the car is damaged. If it doesnt fit, you have problems.
