old style SS rims on 3rd gen

i'd like to get the 4th gen, 1st edition Camaro Super Sport rims/tires and put them on my 87 Iroc. Any suggestions/ cautions would be appreciated. please don't get into a long discussion about backspacing, etc...what I want to know is if it will work right w/o any mods. thanks.... '87 Iroc, jet-hot headman headers, jasper 350/ 700r4, true duals, continuing project, but it's the love of my life (in car terms)

4th gen rims will not fit without adapters because they have way too much backspacing... like FWD. Pretty much all modern vehicles are like that today. If you really want to use those rims, see http://www.skulte.com/adapters.html
