255s or 245s on 16" rims?
I'm going to get new front tires and my friend told me that 245s would be better because they would stick less from the rim and give better handling. Right now I have 255s on the rear and they seem pretty good to me. Should I get 255s or 245s?

i know i'm going to catch alot of crap for this but go with whats stock honestly I would go with 235 just becayse they are cheaper. 2 cm of section width really isn't going to be noticable, most people notice a big diff because they get an all around better tire when they buy 245 or 255.

when i bought my 255/50/zr16's they were like 130 a piece which isnt that bad considering they were z rated. i believe they were interceptors and they hooked up ok. and they look alot wider than just 2 cm.

I have 255/50/16's from pep Boys, the Ultra Z's. They are an awsome Z rated tire for only $100 each. I am VERY happy with them.
I would not get less then 245's because that's what was stock on IROC's.
