Wondering what tires are better, the comp ta drag radials or teh nitto 555r drag series? I know that you do not purhcase these tires for long life but what tires last longer and which one hooks up better??

Comp TA DRs hook better than the Nittos but don't last nearly as long. The Nittos require more of a burnout than the TAs to get max traction. I use the Nittos as daily drivers and like them.

I have the Nitto's and like them a lot. I needed daily driver tires also. I drove from Michigan to Florida and back with no problems. They handle awesome and I can beat Saturns off the line now. I used to just go sideways with my old hard tires. Haven't had the BFG's to compare them to though. IMO, I think they look better and will be better in the rain. Every little rock sticks to the tire and is thrown at your quarter panels. Haven't made any real hard lauches yet. Scared of grenading my rearend. Stick pretty good to wet pavement too.
