I know I need both, but money is tight, coil springs or shocks? my suspension is starting feel spongy and soft around turns.my 91'z-28 has 72834 miles on it. I need some input on which to do first?

One without the other is like working against itself. If you had only new springs, you'd have a car that would not keep the wheels planted in corners and bumps. If you skipped the springs, you'd have a car with way nasty body roll and brake dive. Suffer and save up.
