is it as easy as it looks oto remove the coil springs

Car: 1983 Camaro Sport Coupe
Engine: 1986 305 C.I.D. Bored .030 over
Transmission: TH350 W/Shift Kit
Axle/Gears: 3:08
is it as easy as it looks oto remove the coil springs
it looks like all i would have to to is jack up the car, remove bottom bolts from springs and let rear end down and springs would just come out?? can it really be this easy or am i missing something
any help would be appreciated

that should read remove bottom bolts from shocks.... man i was in a hurry

wow thanks the article cleared it all up. i cant believe something is so simple. seems like every other time i decide to do anything to my car it takes at least two days and i always get to the total frustration point before it works.

My little bro and I changed the springs in his car (84 Z28) in less than 10 minutes in my driveway, without air. It's that easy.

I never had to loosen/remove the panhard rod just to yank the springs...
