wonder bar question...
Will the wonderbar fit all thirdgen camaros. I have a 1985 Z-28 and was just curious because of the potential for design changes at the attaching points.
Is the stock wonderbar good enough or should I look to the aftermarket. What is the least expensive aftermarket one. I don't feel like paying $100 for a $45 part.

Yes it will! I just installed one on my '84 Z28.......BTW, I purchased mine from the wrecking yard for $5.....
------------------
'84Z28/'92 305TPI
'92 complete rear suspension/PBR disc/Posi/3:42
Light weight 34.5mm stabilizer bar in front ($10 from wrecking yard)/
"wonder Bar" ($5 from wrecking yard)
23mm sta. bar in rear
Rear RS Springs (slightly softer than my Z28)
comp cam, flowmaster
TB coolantbypass/shutoff valve to heater core
powersteering cooler lines (liberated from another wrecked car of course)
MAT relocated
Ram-Air(home-made) gutted air-box
IROC ground effects/wheels GY245/50's
700R4 superior shift kit/ corvette servo(excellent shift kit btw)
home-made strut tower brace (cost $6)
Rebuilt engine and transplanted it myself.
Love this engine!
freshly painted OCT. 2000 Teal with two white stripes on the hood and deck lid
LOW performance people should drive low performance vehicles!

Does anyone have a photo or link to one that shows this wonderbar? I have an 87 TA with the 36mm swaybar. I know the setup is a little different than my 91, at least at the idler arm. So it will still fit?

There is only one aftermarket, and its made by Global West at http://www.globalwest.net/
I have the 36mm sway bar and mine fits in there perfectly. Here's a pic: http://24.1.139.249/images/101400/DCP_0017.JPG
I couldnt get the whole thing with my camera. The bottom black bar is the sway bar, and the top is the wonder bar. It bolts to the same place as the sway bar.

Kevin, how does your lower radiator hose come out of the radiator? On my V6 car, the lower hose comes out the driver's side. Here's the important part- my hose does a downward loop, for some strange reason, and curves back upward again- it makes a horseshoe shape. That horseshoe is right in the spot where your Wonderbar is! I'm just wondering if your v8 lower hose has that same curl, or if it just goes straight out from the radiator to the water pump.
I wonder why mine curves downward... maybe to make sure that no v6'er bolted on a wonderbar?
