i just got koni's from my dad for xmas. I tink they are the wrong ones though. I wanted the Koni adjustable drag shocks, the ones i got are just normal koni adjustables and plus you have to take them off the car to adjust the valving, i wanted the ones with the *****. anyone know the part number for the drag adjustables??? thanks.

Car: Camaro Z28 1LE R7U
Engine: 5.0 TPI
Transmission: G-Force Dog-Ring T5
Front: 8741-1030 SPA1
Rear: 30-1265 SPA1

These numbers are off the top of my head, but I am fairly certain these are the ones you are looking for.

NOTE: Koni specifically states that these skocks are for DRAG RACE USE ONLY and are not safe for street use. If the car is a dual purpose street/strip car I would recommend the normal (red) adjustables. Just remove the SPA1 from the end of the part numbers for those.

Also, Koni has a whole bunch of different listings for shocks and struts for our cars, I gave you the part# for the ones for a Z-28 or IROC or WS-6 Trans-Am with 16" wheels.

Ya, i know which ones your talking about and i dont think those are the ones that i want. There is a middle one between the ones i got (the street ones) and the SPA's. If not, do you guys have any other shocks that you would recomend, like Hal's or something? i want something that is tuneable to 90/10 with a **** on the side or some other easily adjustable method. Thanks guys.

i have the koni sport yellows which are the top of the line for the street. i am looking at the box that they came in and the part number is 1265sport for the rear and 1030sport. the front ones adjust with a white **** they give you. the rear you have to take off and adjust. i paid $460 from the tire rack but we are a dealer with them. expect to pay about $540 plus shipping. they handle very well.
