Wheels turned inward
Ok, I've been slowly replacing front end parts. One thing I cant get past is why my wheels are turned inward. I believe the camber? is what is messed up. what would I need to check/ change/ fix/ replace in order to fix this problem?
I am going to completely overhaul the front end eventually but I want to fix this problem next. I dont even want to get new wheels or tires because it looks like there just going to wear down.

Re: Wheels turned inward

Hello
Before the tires end up getting ruined I would just suggest taking the vehicle and having it properly aligned by a professional. If you have any other questions feel free to ask.
Thanks
Brad

If they are leaning like that (to an extent), that is camber. And, it need to be at a slight angle the other way. You can adjust it by loosening the strut mount plates and slide them toward your engine. I would recommend taking it to a professional, also.

Re: Wheels turned inward
The reason I have not taken it to a professional is because:
I dont drive the car
The tires have the metal wires sticking out of them
Still replacing the suspension parts
shocks, struts, springs are bad.
Once I am done fixing most suspension parts, Ill take it to get an alignment.
The car is just sitting in the garage and is not being driven. I was just wondering why my tires were like this and what i need to fix.
Thanks everyone

Re: Wheels turned inward
Loosen the 3 nuts (per side) of the strut mounts & move them all the way in.
This should "fix" it until you can get a real alignment. It will be too far in to run on the street while expecting long tire tire & equal wear. But it will get you by quite well.
No guarantee afterwards though on if you won't get pull left or right, because I think you said you did, or intend to. replaced the tie rod ends. But the strut mounts won't be the reason for pull. That will be the tie rod adjustments "fault".

Re: Wheels turned inward
I was pulling left and right before the new tie rods, I havent test driven it yet to see if it still pulls. As for the inward tires, Ill make the adjustment asap and when I finish replacing my balljoints, bushings, shocks, struts, springs, a-arms (maybe), ill get a real alignment.
