Re: C4 Corvette rear suspension swap notes...
really nice job. Do you know if it is possible to do this operation and still have the rear seat? Do you think/know if it is harder to this with the c5 rear suspension?

FlyDoc was able to retain the rears seats for the most part. I am trying this too and I plan on retaining the rear seats.

You want to see a monster Vette? here you go. 0-60 in 3 seconds. All of this run you see is the car in 1st gear only doing up to 70 mph on a little autox course here in So Calif back in '93. This car puts down 540 rwhp, and tachs 8500 rpms-(yes, 70 mph in 1st gear with a Mincie M22 Rockcrusher- you should see it pull in 3rd gear) Dean
been there done that 8500 r's and I found out how small my testies really were,
P.S. is any one thinking of doin this, I am, but I have some less intrusive ideas, this is way cool for this application, but mine is a convertible and I want to keep the back seet.
I will start a new thread If I jump at it

I put in coil overs, and moved in to the seat area by about 6", but I was able to make some seat backs that are similar to my front seats only smaller. need to get them covered, they work good for the kids, but that's all that fit in there to start with.

Re: C4 Corvette rear suspension swap notes...
1MeanZ,
Have you driven a C4 corvette a lot on the street and track? My Camaro is mostly for autocrossing and road racing with a little street driving. I won't do an IRS swap for a few years but does it feel like a C4?.
I will eventually buy a C4, possibly a C5 Corvette (I love corvettes) and the only reason I would not do this swap myself is if it felt exactly like a Corvette.

Your car is Great! I am curious where you found the picture of the early C4 Suspension. Other measurements would be interesting to have.
Thank you.
