4th gen front springs won't fit a 3rd gen, at all. Only the rear springs do.

so I've driven around town a bit on short test runs & the cars not setteling any more, still sitn about 4- 4.5" in front.
I guess I'll take it in to get it fixed maybe cut a coil off or put in sum V6 springs ?

From what I understand, the LS1 is only about 30+lbs heavier than the 3.1 v6, so regular v8 springs would be too strong. For the same reason, you can not but v8 lowering springs on a v6- they just sit too high! Could it really be THAT simple?

Put in some racecraft drop spindles. They give you a 2" drop and will lower the car the proper way! They are also compatible with bigger brakes if you decide later on to get that (since your LS1 will make you go uber fast)
