Are koni yellow rear shocks adjustable?

I just installed the koni yellows in the rear of my GTA. (huge PITA) are they adjustable? If so, I can't figure out how to do it

Thanks,
Bill

Re: Are koni yellow rear shocks adjustable?

They are rebound adjustable (for the record, that is the force it takes to pull them apart making the shock longer)

What you will need to do is :
1)unbolt the bottom of the shock from the axle.
2) pull the black plasticecover upward off the top of the body- its a little tough but give it some force and pry it a little with a flathead screwdriver if needed.
3) once the black dust cover is heald up towards the top mmount off the yellow body of the shock, you can now reach up under and feel the top of the shock body around where the piston rod goes into it. You will feel a round ballbearing feeling button on the top circumferance area of the body. With a finger, press this in and then hold the shaft in one hand and the body in the other and spin a little till it lightly clicks into the next spot
4) there are 4 adjustment settings or positions. Koni labels them 0,1,2, & 3. Soft is 0, firmest rebound damper is 3. Which way is which? Hold the shaft in the right hand, and the body in the left. Turn the left hand clockwise is firmer, counter clockwise is softer. You will most likely have to go one click at a time. jiggle it to settle intot hat position, then depress the button again to move to the next click and repeat jiggle to set the button back up in place.

I hope I explained that as clearly as I think I did.
