Help! accident & suspension issues
posting for a friend with an 80s fbody... recently lost control of his car in bad weather (was cut off by a 18 wheeler) doing about 20-25mph..fishtailed, car skidded on snow and slid into curb on highway (which also had heavy snow/ice buildup on it from recent storm)...no body damage (suprisingly) except some marks on his ground effects, but heavy curb rash on rim from the hit...it sorta bounced off curb (the wheel).. as in, it hit the curb (during the fishtail) and then subsequently bounced off, and stopped..
car now has a 'pull' to the right side (same side hit occured). when you let go of the wheel, car will automatically pull to the right...somehting obviously was bent/damaged in the suspension.
im asking you experts...what parts were damaged in this (minor) accident? what would cause a 'pull' like that in the 80s fbodies given the circumstances? what do you think needs to be replaced? and how, should it be evaluated?
he says there is also a slight squeak from the same wheel as well when braking, but only at low speed and not every time (hit or miss with the squeak)...
looking for multiple responses and info on this issue... please help, i would appreciate it!
