245/60zr16 Sneakers

Well, that time has come again when the rubber on the road reflects your tires in that safty/emission thing. Problem is, I cant seem to find any new ones heh.. I started on google and just typed in "Discount Tires" to maybe see whats available before I start asking questions. I visited every single link on the first page, punched in the tire size, hit enter, and voila... nothing. Time and time again I get the "No search results match your criteria." The car came with those zexius xi326 245/60zr16 tires on the rear and so i thought I'd punch that in and see what I got. All that came up was something about a scam from les schwab and some review's, still nothing that helps me actually achieve a set of tires. After all this I decided to come to the one place I am most likley to get answers. Does anyone have any recomendations as to a tire I should look at? Doesnt really have to be z series, either works. I am thinking that somehow I have made a mistake. Anybody catch anything that doesn't add up?

Thanks

Josh

That's not really a good choice in size for our cars anyways...Whatever is on your car, is an OLD, no longer made by anybody , size. You sure they are 60 series, not 50s?

Try 245/45R16

or...

245/50R16

245/50-16 was standard, and is widely available
255/50-16 ( a C4 size) is still available, but not too many choices

Here you go-22 tires to choose from in that size and 14 of them are Z rated.

Well I dont know where those came from, but I will go with the 50 series from now on. Stephen, have you good things to say about those tires? Although I live in utah, I do not drive my car durring the snowy season and avoid driving in the rain as much as possible. So picking a good dry perfomance tire is more important to myself.

Thanks for the help.

I had no complaints on those 295s. But they are H rated. not Z, so if Z rating is important to you.....

No snow (or rare) here, but PLENTY of rain. I don't recall ever having a handling problem, wet or dry.

I do know, that those are what I plan on getting for my rear crosslace wheels. I'm running 17" Snypers right now, but kept thecrosslace wheels & the rear 2 have no tires at all, right now.
