Front Struts hit Swaybar end-link bushings...
I've been attempting to sort a steering issue out. The front wheels grab/pull when turning in or out of my driveway. I completely replaced every single suspension type part in my 88 IROC and installed the large HELLWIG solid sway bar.
Today, after jacking the front off the ground, I noticed that the front Koni Yellow struts hit the sway bar end links. I think as the wheel moves up and down, the bottom of the Koni struts hits the links and temporarily catches on the links.
If this is the problem, then I must have received the wrong length end links??
How do I correctly size the length of them or does it matter how long or short they are?
Many thanks, Nitro-Nicky

i had the same thing happen with a set of craptasic Addco sway bars i used to have. Its an issue with the swaybars not the endlinks. I suppose if a shorter endlink will remedy the problem you could swap one in. Im assuming you have long, maybe 6" bolts now?
What size is the bar? is it 1.25 solid? I dont think many different companies make aftermarket swaybars so hellwig and addco may be the same.

Check to make sure your sway bar is not upside down, a friend had the same problem, he took out the sway bar and turned it up side down and solved his problems

I was off at Poker Night, but will definitely check it tomorrow. With gutting the entire front and rear it could easily have happened. Just to be safe; how do I know which side is up/down???? And I'll also measure it. Many Thanx!! Nitro
