anyone knows who makes part #3 in this drawing?? I am almost sure I saw this part in the aftermarket somewhere but don't know where. I checked TDS,Spohn,and TPIS to no avail. I am not missing the one on my car, it just looks like crap and I would like to find one that looks a whole lot nicer and stronger than the original.

 

I made my own. I could not find anyone who made one. I used 4130 tubing and rod ends.

 

UMI and BMR make a piece that is similar to the factory piece. They are made to fit a dual exhaust though, so they have the bend in the middle and I think they mount a little lower.

 

the BMR/UMI pieces provide the extra clearance, and they relocate the passengerside of the panhard bar to a lower position, so you need to lower the driverside end by some other means to correct geometry.

Grantanalli (spl) also sells a rip-off replacement that is the same as stock but just stamped out of heavier metal, its almost 300 bux IIRC.
