11sec - Then why'd you need to let the bat charge?

the track was dead and i was hot laping, running my fans and bottle heater. when i let the car sit in the lane for a few minutes with the fans running it would draw the battery down and make my nitrous act up. the solenoids wouldnt stay open down the track. when i let the car charge with the fans running and heater on it was fine. the car stayed around 200-220* all day.

I've been in that boat on the stereo, but my car was sporting 2 deep cycle batts and two full farad capacitors.

- All homemade motorsports suspension sir. I'm a fabrication nut. Poly bushed box lower control arms, relocate brackets, 3/4 black iron pipe adjustable tq arm mounted to a crossmember that tied to my "in-floor" subframe connectors. I was running -6 pinion angle and about 1 down on the control arms(low to the back). IIRC, my tq arm was around 54" which was obviously too long for my power level since I needed -6 pinion angle. Monroe sensa-junk shocks and eibach sportline springs.

The biggest thing everyone seems to forget is that no tire truely "hooks". It's all about controlled spin. - The T5's I was running came out of mid 90's v6 birds, thus they had that ridiculously low 3.75 1st gear. Slow your wheel speed down, controll the spin better. BUT, you're only faster if your motor will twist up fast enough to take advantage of it. - I'd bring it up to around 5600 in the beams, then stand on it and side-step the clutch, depending on how it felt, I shifted 1-2 between 72-7600, 2-3 & 3-4 usually around 67-6800.
