hey i have a 91 trans am ws6, i want to change the rims to make the car look more modern, i saw a pic of one with 2003 z06 rims on it and i really liked it, is there a certain company that makes these rims for the 82-82 f-body or will the rims off of a z06 fit on my car?

Z06 rims are the same bolt pattern as the 3rd gens.

You would need to buy spacers due to the high offset of the Z06 rim.

If you do a search there has been topics covering the spacers needed. I think it was 2" rear and 1.5" front but don't quote me.

I don't know anything about where to get the rims, but i do know who to talk to about spacers. Talk to Andris Skulte. If i can find his website I'll edit my post.

i think summit sells the Chrome ZO6 Wheels, kind of expensive though. I got mine at the GM nationals in Carlisle PA with wheels and tires for 550 bucks.
I talked to Andris Skulte when i got the wheels and he told me to run the 2 1/4 inch spacers all the way around for the 17x9.5 with 275/40/R17 tires. they fit great and the tires come right to the edge of the fender. Andris said that i might be able to get away with 2 inch spacers if it looked like i had more room, but i like the 2 1/4 they put the wheels in an excellent position.

I am looking to buy some C6Z06 replicas for another vehicle project and found them cheapest so far though Lakeshore Wheels.
Set of Hyper silver Dark (almost black) Wheels 18x 8.5 fronts and 19X10 rears $779 for the set.

There is a company that sells Z06 wheels that fit our cars WITHOUT spacers. They are 17x8.5 and have a 15MM offset. the company is http://customwheelsmarket.com/cwm-to...7861c-cam.html

They also offer that same wheel in black for $150 shipped. The triple chrome plated is $208 shipped. The only downside for some guys is the rivots on them but they can be painted to hide them a little bit

are you sure you dont need spacers, I just looked at the site and how would you buy all four with the same backspacing and not need spacers? Just wondering since fireibirds have different backspacing on the factory rims.
