Chassis straightening prior to SFC install?
Is it neccessary to have my frame straightened out before I install Subframe Connectors? I've heard of people doing this if their car's been hit before, but mine has never been in a accident. However, it does have T-tops and an L98, which has probably led to some flex over time. It also has 67,000 miles on the clock, if that makes a difference.

couldn't hurt to have it checked . might cost a few $ , but it would give you peace of mind . might not cost anything if the same shop is going to install them for you .

Re: Chassis straightening prior to SFC install?
I need to have mine checked. My car has 169,000 miles on it and I've driven the crap out of it over the last 4 years I've had it. Thanks for the idea.

mine cost me 70-90 dollars a few years back. took about 2 hours, IIRC.
just make sure to have the suspension loaded during the install.
also, make sure they use enough welds! I need to take mine somewhere to add some more. don't let them take it off the lift until you're happy!
4 yrs later, and I need to take my car back in to have a few more welds added.
