4 link Excel Spreadsheet with GRaphics!!! Check it out

Ok, surfing for my other money hungry habit - 4 wheel drive trucks- I came across this little jewel the other day. Excel Cad 2.1. It's an Excel Spreadsheet that you can input your 4 link numbers and vehicle specs in and it will give all your suspension geometry, anti squat, roll axis and angle and more information than you ever wanted to know WITH corresponding semi scaled graphics. Page two will help you calculate what material you need, Comes with a page helping explain it. AND ITS FREE!!!. For those of you thinking of 4 linking your ride, this is a must have. Check it out and give Mr. Greg Blanchette some serious props. Hope it helps you all as much as it helped me.

John
Edit, oops forgot the link http://www.gregblanchette.com/pages/1/index.htm

All you had to do is ask. The 4x4 owners have had free software for some time now. You can play with the numbers to make it ladder bars or even a torque arm suspension.

Check out his excel file also.

Great info....
Thanks for the links.

I am currently designing a 4 link for my Chevy truck. Couldn't have come at a better time.

I use Performance Trends 4-link software myself. It plots all the IC points at the same time and you can easily change the link locations by clicking on a mount hole or clicking on an IC point and the bars automatically move to the correct hole.

Those shareware versions can at least get you in the ballpark but take a bit more to set up and change the data.
