UMI subframe connector question?

UMI subframe connector question?
I recentyl purchased a set of the UMI weld in SFC's, there is a bolt in the rear that goes through the lower control arm. Do i tighten this all the way before or after I tack weld these into place? My plan was to install the bolt loosley and tack them into place then tighten the bolt after they are tacked in. Then finish welding.
Any help is appreciated.

Re: UMI subframe connector question?
i believe you need to tighten the bolt with the weight of the car on it. i personally would tighten it then weld it in, but im unsure of any specific procedure

Re: UMI subframe connector question?
Why not just call UMI and ask them. Not being a smarta$$ but this is the quickest way to get the correct answer.

Re: UMI subframe connector question?
I just did this on my car . With the sus loaded and the subframe bolted in place . Just tighted the bolt intill the space is gone between the mount and connecter . If you have new lca's , weld the sfc's in with the old arm in place . Good luck .
