Torque Trust II fitment for IROC

I know that there is tons of threads already. And after reading for a day Im still not shure about what is the widest rim and tire I can fit without rubbing.
Im trying to stay around the 17in size. The car had been lowered about a inch with some Ibach springs. I could care less if the fronts rub in and out of the drive way. I have just had too many differant recomendations to make a choice. I drive hard on the road and am looking to pull hard corners. Also does any one have a great tire combo for the same that looks agressive as well as it works.. I would love to get a 17/9" or larger. Also I don't care if the fronts are of differant size. Is ther anyone out there have this exact sizes to go by ? Im also interested if a differant rear end would make this job better. Im not shure but is a 4th gen camaro diff the same or more narrow and is this a option. Then again I not shure that's why Im asking all you pro's
thanx in advance

Re: Torque Trust II fitment for IROC

I'm running 17x8 all around with 4" backspace and -11mm offset (one of the two mass produced wheels listed for Firebirds with 16" wheels, the other is 4.75" BS with +8mm offset) and mine is lowered with Eibach Sportlines. I get a small bit of rub at full lock turns and that's it. I was going to get 9.5" is the rear but couldn't wait to have them made at the time so I may get them later.
The 4th gen rear is wider by approximately 2". TT2s are mass produced in 17x9.5" for 4th gens as are the 17x11s. You'd wind up running spacers up front if you went the 4th gen route unless you like having more rim showing up front than in the rear.
