tire question on a 84 camaro
Im sorta new to the board and definately new to posting on here. Ive actually had quite a few questions about my car as Im new to Fbodys but you guys are so informative and knowledgable that I usually am able to read someone elses post and find the answer to my question.
Anyway I have a question that no one has been able to answer yet. I havea pair of 295 50R15 centerline wheels that i want to put on the back of my 1984 camaro RS. AS far as i know the suspension and ratio is origional. Will these tires fit? Will there be any problems? Also will a pair of 215 60R15s fit the front? Thanks in advance for all your help and I look forward to your response.

Before you get offended by what I say, just know that I can appreciate the "Joe Dirt" look as much as anybody.
That being said, your back tires may be problematic. I typically run 235/60 15s when I run 15" wheels and 245/50 16s on my nice wheels. I have run up to 255 width on the back but it would rub if I smacked a hole too hard.
Your fronts shouldn't be a problem at all.
Good luck, and let's see some pics after its "jacked up!"

I run 255/60/15s Rears on my 3rdGen with no problem (very bumpy roads here) ...I've seen 275/60/15s on Rears of other 3rd Gens but haven't asked owners if they needed a larger Spacer (if so, you shouldn't go more than 1/4" thick). I run 235/60/15s on Front with some rub when wheel hard-over for parking (possibly I could eliminate this with some caster adjustment but haven't tried yet) so could only say with certainty at the moment that you could go as high as 225/60/15s up Front. If you have cornering/handling concerns you should probably try to stay with same heights Front & Rear ...60s all around, or 50s, etc.
