Question About my tire rubbing and about my suspension

OK I have an 89 IROC-Z and I just got some new wheels. The wheels are corvette c6 OEM wheels.

Wheels - fronts (18x8.5), rears (19x10)
Tires - fronts (245/40/18), rears (285/35/19)

I bought some spacers off of SKULTE spent 316 on that =(. The fronts are 2" and the rears 2.25".

The tires still rub on the inside of the well not the top. I was wondering what can I do so it wont rub?

My other question is how can I get my suspension to feel smooth like a new car?

Thanks in advance guys!!!!

About your suspension, I've heard the best thing you can do for it is to replace all the bushings with polyurethane bushings and get new shocks, struts, and springs. You can get stock style new springs so your ride doesn't get rougher or if you don't want to lower the car (they'd probably raise the car a hair because the stockers are probably worn out).

new car feel? u want the ride softer or better handling stiffer and better responsiveness?

softer ride u would get stock replacements or get non WS6 springs for a softer ride, get new struts and shocks prob something really soft like sensatrac or somecheap stock replacements and replace ur rubber bushings with new rubber ones.

new stock ride...just replace all ur stock stuff, maybe upgrade with moog WS6 springs and shocks/struts and replace with poly bushings

firmer ride...higher spring rate springs or lowering springs, highperformance shocks/struts, poly bushings, LCA's, panhard rod, SFC, etc

to renew ur ride ur gona need to replace the springs, shocks/struts, bushings but its up to u with what kind of ride u want.
