Something strange is goin on with my s/e
i was drving on the street and i pass thru a big hole
and i thought i blowed a tire cause for a few seconds my ride felt like a square tire ! or like i was riding a horse "toom toom toom toom " and the car moves up and down a bit (its not the road) i thought it was the road..and then it dissapeared....yesterday ...i was turning and AGAIN ! ...for a few seconds ..10 toom toom toom toom ...and its gone...
why is it happening ??????
maybe its the shocks ?
maybe i broke something !
any clue ?

A bad U-Joint in the Drive Line?

 

I dont think so
a U Joint doesnt make the car jumpy ...
its feels like a square tire literally !

 

Theres a fair chance you damaged the side wall of the tire that hit the pot hole. It would make the car feel as if it was shifting left to right. It may do this intermitenly. Being in a turn would put just the type of presser on the tire to make a bad side wall act up.
Look at the side walls of the tire and see if there is any damage like a tear or bubble. You can also jack up the tire and spin it. You will see the tread shift when you spin it.
If you do fine one like this replace it. Its a blow out whaiting to happen.

Look for a buldge on the tire, sounds like you broke a steel belt or 2 in the tire, you better get it looked at soon because you will have a blow out.

btw ...what should i find ? a bubble on the tire ? or maybe something like a hole ? can you post pics if you have some ?

No pics. Just take it to you favorite tire place and ask them to take a look. If they find something ask them to show you.

 

If you have to replace the tire, you can get the city to pay for it. Just call up the local transportation office or whoever is in charge the roads and file a complaint. Tell them you want the new tire covered.

It can be done, just dont yell on the phone.

Mistery solved !
i broke a coil...one turn is cut out
what should i do ?
put some new coils ? or cut both and put them on to lower ?
That's not the worst part
The part of the car where is attached the top of the shock cutted out and
make a big hole so the shock is like crazy without attaching on the top ....
anybody has been thru this ?
