F41 Spring Rates
I've done a search, but I could only find spring rates for Z28 and RS(without F41 package) Im redoing my suspension and I was wondering whether or not to keep the stock springs. If the spring rates are pretty close to the Z28 or IROC, I will keep them. Otherwise, I will replace them.
I have a 91RS with the F41 suspension. I am currently upgrading all bushings to polyurethane, sway bars to 36/24, new struts/shocks, wonderbar, and all the steering components. The only part im not really touching are the springs. I'm starting to think maybe I should, but I was reading some people suggest keeping the RS springs with the F41.
Any suggestions??

Car: 91 RS, 95 Z28
Engine: 305 tbi, 350 lt1
Transmission: 4l60, 4l60e
Axle/Gears: monsterous 2.73s in both
I also have a 91RS with F41. I'm keeping my stock springs. Searching for MOOG replacements yeilded v6 rs springs, rs springs, and z28 springs. I believe the rs came at around 4xx lb/in and the z28 was 7xx lb/in. I feel my car handles great and rides very comfortably. I drove a 91 z28 before, very rough. Its felt like I was riding on rims with no springs .

i also have the f41 that came w/ the heritage package on my RS. im pretty sure they are just v8 RS springs because i just measured the ones sitting in the garage and free height is at 15.5 inches or so. so yah get some better ones...like eibach or stock IROCs

Yeah, I always thought that the F41 meant it got Z28 springs.
Is there anyone who is absolutely certain on the answer to this?

After many searches and a lot of reading, I have decided to keep the springs I have for now. There seems to be mixed opinions on the F41 springs, so I might as well try them out.
