need help with set up, 4th gen rear.

ok, i've been searching for about an hour or so and i haven't come to any good conclusion on this, i tryed doing the formula myself, but im just not that great at math, because of all the vairables.

ok what i want, z06 wheels 17/8.5 or 17/9.5, whichever fits better with say a 255/40/17 up front.
but with a 4th gen rear, i want 18/10.5s, but i've seen it and the tire shot out past the quarter. no go. so a 18/9.5

so with my math i got 17/8.5 with 58mm offset up front, should need a 2 inch adaptor and it will have a little bit a clearance

and for the rear 18/9.5 with 65mm offset, figured on a stock rear you would need a 2 inch adaptor and a 4th gen is roughly 2 inchs wider. or is this going to shootout past the quarter as well?? i want to run at least a 275/40/18

someone please chim in if you have a 4th rear end and experiance with the z06 rims

thankyou, that was helpful. but i think im gunna try a rim combo that won't need spacers. 17x8" fronts torque thrust IIs made for the 3rd gen. but with a the 4th gen rear but im not sure which rim would be best. now these ones are made for the 4th gen, my options are the 17x11" 7.75 backspacing and 45.72 offset or the 17x9.5 7"backspacing and 45.72 offset. now for each one where do you think thats gunna put me as far as the fender lip and clearance with the inner fender? wider then what you have or more tucked in?

well what im saying is, im dropping in a 4th gen rear, and i know the backspacing changes when you increase the rim with. so i am asking is the 17x9.5 with 7 inchs of backspacing w/45.72mm of offset fit properly, and not stick out much or at all from the fender lip?
