My car is crooked as a politician!
Hello fellow TGO members,
Ok here is my problem. I just purchased a 85 Iroc and the seller stated to me that the car was lowered 1.5". Well I noticed that it looked strange when I pulled to a big glass window and the headlights looked off set. I looked at the rear of the car today and it looks like the car is leaning towards the right really bad. Can this be fixed by a regular joe with tools or is this something for a shop. It is too dark to take a pic right now but I will post one tomorrow.

I have read that the right rear tire is the one the gets the power first (drive tire) its almost as if the suspension should be preloaded to that side to correct the issue, not sure but try new rear shocks and such might help the issue
I just noticed that you said the car was "lowered" the rear could be off center, things like an adjustable panhard rod might help

He probably didn't index the springs right when he lowered it.
Panhard would just have the body not centered left to right, over the rear axle, so it shouldn't affect height.
Depending on the tools you have, and if you care about downtime, it should be doable without fretting. Jack it up by the rear frame area, and let the rear axle hang, then snoop around the rear springs and see if you find anything mickey mouse there.

I've been messing around with the rear end on my car for awhile. The rear drive wheel is at least an inch or two lower than the passenger side. It started when i was driving down the road, and this idiot in a truck decided to pull from the side of the road and jump in front of me and block both sides of the road, and to avoid hitting him i had to drive on the grass. I replaced the shocks with KYBs, and then replaced the lower control arms and panhard rod with boxed pieces. It was still lopsided, so recently this month i added some IROC springs in the rear. If you have a car that wobbles and sways pretty bad on turns, you will notice a big difference with a new set of springs (my car is 20 years old ). This thing cuts on rails, no fishtailing, and it pushes the car down on acceleration so its faster too. Well, after doing all this, its still lopsided, so i took it to a frame shop and they said i need an alignment in the rear. I havent gotten it done yet, but i will post it when i do and let you guys know. ...

our rear ends can't be aligned (unless you have an adjustable pan hard bar) and like said before that shouldn't affect ride height.
