poly bushings and zerk fittings

I've read about making your poly bushing areas greaseable by drilling and tapping for zerk fittings, then simply greasing. My question is:

On front sway bar-frame mounts, you drill the bracket, tap it, and drill the poly bushing itself, as well as maybe make a channel on the inside of the bushing for grease to reach all around the sway bar....

What about panhard rod, and LCA's? Drill through the bushing as well? I'm just trying to picture which part will be rotating and which needs the grease, the inside, or outside of the bushing?

Thanks
-J

You want the lube getting all the way to the inside so as the pivot works back and forth the grease works its way out and covers the metal to bushing contact points, if you don’t get it to the inside of the bushing then there is no reason for the grease to cover all fo that. I’ve drilled them and cut flutes to give the grease some way to get to where its going.
