Should I cut these Drop zone springs
I was thinking about taking them off the car and cutting them a bit but i'm not exactley sure if I should or If I do, how much should I cut. I would like to go 2 inches lower in the front and 1-1/4 lower in the rear. The fronts are so high in this picture because their v8 springs and I have a v6. What do yous think? Just cut 1/4 of a coil and call it a day no matter the results. It would be too much of a hassel to put springs on , lower the car down and look, then want to lower more and take them back out.

why don't you just wait until you put you V8 in since you think the problem seems to be the lightweight V6.
Personally I wouldn't wanna have it too low after the V8 goes in and have to redo it.

car show is june 11 & 12th and I don't think it looks right. I won't have the v8 in before the car show so I don't know. When I put the v8 in i'll probably get intrax drop since it's lower then the dropzones.

even the back seems high and it shouldn't make a difference like it would in the front. Did the overall diameter of the tire change? It it were me I'd go to the yard and get some cheap V6 springs and cut those. Just cuz I'd be easier for me to sell the dropzones later if I'm gonna change them out.

See if I cut stock springs they would bounce and my car may bottom out, which isn't good at all. It won't be that much of a loss because I got a deal on these springs since they were used. I wish I new how much to cut to lower 2 inches and the rear to go down 1-1/4. I would hate to cut and fit cut and fit etc.

depending on the springs you get about an inch or so per coil. If they are progressive springs though cutting them can screw up the spring rate.

Well i just did alittle research and saw this guy with a v8 cut a half coil off and the front tires were tuckin. So i'm guessing like 5/8 of a coil in the front since i have a v6 and 1/4 of a coil cut in the rear?
