I say go with 245/40R18 in front and either 275/40R18 or 285/35R18 in the back. Get prepared for a stiff ride. It was very noticeable at first, but I'm perfectly happy with how it rides now. I have 275/40r18's in back.
Use 2" spacers in the rear. I'm using a 4th gen rear which gives an extra 1 5/8" on each side, and its not enough. I've had to beat the inner fender in, and even still on sharp quick turns, I get rubbing. 1.75"-2" would be about perfect. I'm trying to find a set of the drum rear spacers to use to push my wheels out just a tiny bit. I have a feeling the custom panhard bar I'll use will all but eliminate the problem as well though.
