swapped rims, tierod rubs. now what

Car: 89 trans am
Engine: 355
Transmission: 700r4
swapped rims, tierod rubs. now what

hey i posted this in appearance too don't really know where i'd get the most help from but anyways here is the problem

i went from the 15" trans am rims to the 16" trans am rims and now the tie rods are up against the rim. what should i do and what are my options to fixing it?

Axle/Gears: 3.73 S60
Make sure you didnt mount the rears on the front.

yea i was thinking that but i don't think they have different offsets. i have the 16" trans am wheels that sorta bubble out.. here is a picture of them

Yep they do have different offsets. IIRC all thirdgen 16" rims do.

ooooh ok thank you man i appritiate it i didn't think they were offset, the ****ty thing is i also have directional tires so i hope i don't have the rims on the same side

If you went to a half-way decent tire shop, you'd think they would have known to put the tires on the right direction on the right rims.

well i work at a midas and i was working on somebodies car, and another guy told me he would put my tires on my car while i was busy so he just put the 2 nicer ones on the front cause 2 of them have clear coat pealing of so he put them in the rear. but anyhow i rotated them today and it's good now
