Anyone ever get away w/ 1.75 wheel spacers?

For the front? Im throwing in 17x9.5 rims 265/40/17 tires on the front. I know typically people use at least 2" or 2.25", but i got a set of 1.75"s and wanted to know if they'll work. thanks

Try em' You can check for interference while the front end is still jacked up. then listen for rubbing when you get out on a test drive..

May work with the new Baer setup depending on which setup you are going with. If its their 13" setup, it may kick the front tires out .6" on each side, which would make 1.75" adapters just about perfect. I've considered buying a pair of 1.75" adapters for when I get my C4HD 13" brakes installed on my car because I think the 2" may be too much.

If you're going with their 12" setup (or if their 13" setup doesn't push the wheels out), PM me and maybe we can work out a trade for the spacers. My 2" ones for your 1.75" ones.

I have 1.5s and 1.25s (can't remember what size is on what end) with the Baer 13s up front and factory 12s on back.... the front rims are close to a lip on the bilstien struts but they don't rub though... I also run a 275 40 17 all around..

Good thread guys.

I'm a couple weeks away from putting my Baer 13" kit on but this is good to know. Looks like I'll need to order a new front set of adapters.
