What clearance mods are needed to get these tires to fit???
I have decided that I am going to run a 295\35\17 in the back and a 285\40\17 up front. My first question is the rear rims size. With a 295 out back, which rim width would be better, a 10 or 11? And the second question is besides rolling the fenders, what else will I have to do to get thses tires to fit properly? Anyone else have these size tires? Thanks for your time, Paul Moore

mods
to run my 17x11's out back i had to beat the inner fender walls and roll my fender lips.also its important to know if you are lowered or not and if the rest of your suspension is updated like if your swaybars are stock n shocks are just ok the body will roll in turns meaning it will lean hard which means your tires can rub and rub hard they will.....hers a pic with my zr1's 17x11's on the rear

irocdan: I have a 4th gen rear that is going in the car, so the ZR1 wheels shouldn't need any adapters. I will be lowering the car with Eibach Pro Kit springs(1 inch drop). As far as the rest of the suspension, I will use Hotchkis sway bars 36mm front and 25mm rear. I will also use the BMR tubular/adjustable panhard bar and panhard bar relocation kit, as well as their extreme lower control arms. I will also be using either Bilstein or Koni red shocks. I am hoping that these will fit with minimal modifications.

just make sure u get the correct rear offset there are 2 50mm and 36mm and yes the adj panhard bar is a must to correct the rear end shift

Do you know off the top of your head which offset I will need? I want to try to keep the edge of the tire as even with the fender as possible. Thanks, Paul Moore
