weld draglites on my z-28?
Hey guys give me your opinion. I have a 84'z-28 that I'm thinking about putting a set of weld draglites on. 15x8 w/275/60/15 bfg's rear, 15x5 215/60/15 bfg's front. I'm debating whether I want to put a set of weld draglites on or start building a 355 for it. I've got the money saved up and thinking about making a trip down to Jegs next weekend. So what do you think should I go with the draglites or leave the stockers on it. If i go with the welds and 275/60/15 on the rear I plan on re-gearing to a 3.73 and koni shocks to prevent fender to tire rub. Also if someone could phtoshop it with the welds I would gretaly appreciate it.

well, the 355 would probably be the way to go. you can always add pretty stuff to the car after it's fast. that's the way i operate, and the 91-92 wheels look pretty sweet on the car. but i have to admit, the fatty/skinny combo is the sweetest wheel/tire combo on the planet IMHO. i have 275/60/15's on the back of my car with some monroe replacement shocks and a little inner fender "massaging". you can see it in my sig. and if you want, you can always make that 305 of yours scream too, but most think it's not worth it. check out my cardomain site in my sig for pics and specs.

Here is what my '82 looked like with 15x8 4.5bs Superlites with 265-50-15's all the way around (even though the rears are hard to see with alll the tire smoke)
