possible to run 325/50/15 tire on 10" wide wheel without sticking out?
i found a really good deal on some 325/50/15 m/t dr's and was wondering if i can get them to fit on a 10" wide wheel without them sticking out and no mini tubbing? what kinda backspacing would i need and how much beating would i have to do on the inner fender wheel (i am not afraid to be them to oblivian, just don't want to cut/weld). i cannot stand tires that stick out so that's not an option. can i get these to fit?

remember. this is a 15" wheel, not an 18-20incher. this tire has quite the sidewall which is very fogiving when it comes to smaller wheels, unlike the smaller sidewalls of the tires for the said larger wheels. however, i am not trying to put these on an 8" rim. M/T suggests a 10" rim for these tires. remember, these are a 28" tall tire too. Drag Racing guys, i need your input. as much as i appreciate the input from the lowered guys with big wheels, unless you have experience with drag wheel tire combos, please don't comment.

Yea I think it could fit I see people with 315's on 10"wide 15" tall wheels. Just make sure you get the right BS so the wheel does not stick out!

your 275's are on stock 15x7 z rims w/o rub or modification correct?
I'd love to see those 325's out back, holy cow...

if it's not on a 15" rim, it's a whole nother animal. the sidewall bulge is completely different. which is where i would have trouble with rubbing.

FWIW, I would strongly suggest bracing the rear seat latch points together before pounding on the rear wheel wells too much. I’ve seen tons of f-bodies the rear seats won’t latch right after pounding on the wells, and even if you don’t intend to reinstall your rear seats I think that most of us will agree that you don’t really want to be moving things around indiscriminately

A local guy had an LS1 running around on some 325/50/15 BFGs last year. Pretty sure it was on a 15x10 7.5" BS Draglite.
Not sure what inner fender mods had to be done, but you should be able to fit them with a 15x10 on a 5.5" BS.
If anyone wants to ship the wheels and tires [and allow a couple of passes to test ], I'll figure out what needs to be done on my car. I've already shaved down the bumpstop mounts to the minimum allowable and took off the stops to fit the wheels I ran last year.
I drove it around a couple hundred miles last year on some 275/50/15 Hoosiers on a 15x9 5.5" BS Draglite XP and didn't have any bottoming out issues. The tires would've cleared with the car on the ground, but I had to cut a good amount off the mounts and put in an adjustable PHB to fit them with any type of suspension travel.
