Will 17x11's with a backspacing of 4.25in fit the rear of my 92Z28 without needing spacers? Also, in order to put them on would I definately have to roll the fenders and do some hammering?

Anyone out there whose running 17x11's or even 17x10's feel free to post pics and specs...

Thanks. I think that answers my fender rolling question, but he has 8in backspacing with 1.25in adapters. The rims I'm considering have 4.25in of backspacing.

So can I get them to fit??

They'll stick out past the fenders quite a bit... The total rear backspacing likes to be around 5.5" to 6" to tuck in the 17x11's... Any less backspace, and the rims will begin to stick out.

Andris Skulte, w/ 17x11 ZR1's in the rear...

let me just say from having 18x9.5 with 5.5 inch bs i wouldnt put them 17x11's on with 5.5 bs . 6 , i think id do about 6.5 . I know kandied did this and he had to cut the bumpstops . But someone makes bumpstops that go on the shock so yuo dont need the factory bumpstops.
