Car: too many ...
My bad, I wrote that wrong and left stuff out. I meant to say "You could replace the door windows and hatch window with polycarbonate glass (Speedglass is 70% lighter than glass, does not scratch or fade like lexan). Doh *slaps forhead*

Percy's advertises their Speedglass will drop around 70 lbs off an 82-92 Fbody.

Here's a link to their website: Percy SpeedGlass

Car: 91 Camaro Vert
Engine: 02 LS1, HX40
Transmission: 2002 LS1 M6
the problem with speedglass, lexan, ect is they DO scratch.... in the street car enviroment, plastic windows just dont last.

not saying that to be a ***, they just dont stand up well in a regular driver.. if someone made a hard, scratchproof one like glass that weighed less, i would use it in a heartbeat.

in anycase, with the nose and bumper off, tubular front suspension, and the LS1/T56 in my car, my nose is now up higher then it was... even with a coil cut from the stock springs...

it looks like it doesnt have a engine in it!

when im done, it'll be a lightweight street car.

as i said previously with a FULL interior, thats all four seats, headliner, door panels, carpet, console, dash, etc etc etc the car still would be under 2700lbs with legit weight reduction NOTHING has been cut off the unibody to acheive that weight.
O.K. so you think you have a 2699lbs street car. Please tell me how you did it.

My 92 hardtop was on two DMV scales this week the first one was 3001lbs and 3040lbs on the other, so tell me how to drop 300lbs from it.

I have
Aluminum heads
Aluminum waterpump
Aluminum a/c delete box
Aluminum pulleys
Aluminum front hubs with Willwood brakes
Manual steering
P.A. racing chrome molly K-member
Chrome molly A-arms
Morrison front coil over kit
Chrome molly front bumper bar
Aluminum rear bumper bar
Custom 24lbs Fiberglass trends hood
No wonder bar, sway bars, raido, A/C, fog lights and oil cooler
Small front tires shaved to 3/32nds

And a picture of the interior or lack of it.

The lighter T-5 will not live with my 1.5 60ft times and a T-56 is not much lighter then my Pro-built 700r4 with Yanks ultra lightweight super stock 3600 9 inch converter.

He had nothing listed about an aluminum block, But in the next few weeks I will have one in my car. My Rodeck short block is all done ( for about a year now ) and Dart will have the heads for it in the next two weeks that's only 100 pounds lighter, So after all this he is still 200lbs lighter then me, No way.
